Long Horn (merechamus cartor) beetles

We found ourselves surrounded by these while in the Western Sayan Mountains in Khakassia, Russia in mid August. They climbed over our handlesbars, had sex on the panniers and when they flew into our hair, got tangled and panicked, they drew blood with their mandibles!
